Album Info:These are four fairly nice b&w photos of Canadian National 4-8-4's which they nicknamed "Conferderations" instead of "Northerns". The photos were re-posted 2/18/2025 after the RRPA crash.

Canadian National preferred the name "Confederation" instead of "Northern" for the 4-8-4 wheel configuration. No photographer or exact date in 1956 was given for the photo. Description:  This is a very dramatic view of Canadian National 4-8-4 #6167 on a trestle bridge somewhere in Canada. No date, location or photographer was give for this photo. In Canada, the 4-8-4 wheel configuration was labeled "Confederation" rather than the more common "Northern" label. It was given to the City of Guelth in June of 1967 and placed on display by the rr station. Latest update was in 2011 with the possibility of restoration. Does anyone know if it took place and what its dispostion is now? History - MLW, March, 1940 Serial #69262.
