Description:  This muscle yard goat was built by Lima in May of 1918 as NYC #201 but renumbered in 1936 to 7561. It lasted until being retired in August of 1954. Specs - serial #5460, U-2f, 58" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 218,000 lb, tractive effort of 44,920 lb.. The photo is from the Carl P. Munck collection.

The original loco number was renumbered later as #7871. No information was given for this photo so date & location are approximate. Thanks to Alan Fricker (see comment below) for identifying it as a Lima loco - missed the builder's plate completely and to Bernie Moening for the info on the year & class.
