This muscle yard goat was built by Lima in May of 1918 as NYC #201 but renumbered in 1936 to 7561. It lasted until being retired in August of 1954. Specs - serial #5460, U-2f, 58" drivers, 185 psi boiler pressure, 23.5x30" cylinders, engine weight of 218,000 lb, tractive effort of 44,920 lb.. The photo is from the Carl P. Munck collection. |
