| CSX 8511 (ex-SBD 8511) was a part of an order of SD50s order by L&N with and L&N specifications and was to be delieverd in Family Lines System paint but when the Seaboard System merger happened by the time the units were set to be delievered they arrived in the new Seaboard System scheme. One could only imagine what it would have looked like in Family Lines. Notice the posts for the lights on top the cab. |
