Two UP GEs bring an empty coal train westward near Everest Kansas in November 2007. What appears to be a trestle in the background is what remains of the Rock Island's St Joseph to Topeka line, which crossed over the then-MP here. It was abandoned in 1983 after being operated by the OKKT for a short period following Rock Island's 1980 demise. |
