Nearing the end of its 900-mile journey from Chicago, ICG piggyback train P-55 rolls along the Mississippi River levee just inches away from vehicles on Leake Avenue. All three of these geeps -- 3039, 3011 and 3016 -- were from the railroad's first order of forty GP40's, delivered in black paint in 1966. |
