Built in August 1957 as CB&Q SD9s 440 (c/n 23619) on EMD Order 5549, it became BN 6187 and was retired in June 1986. The lower case "s" in the CB&Q model designation indicates a Single control stand. Previous CB&Q SD9 orders were delivered with dual control stands. |
