Coal Power. Here is a photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken near the Enginehouse in Trenton, New Jersey, c. 1947. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5459, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in March of 1927 and retired in July of 1954 after 27 years of faithful service. |
