| a lot of bad news was arriving for a lot of people as I was leaving home for the US Navy! IT was not the thing that I wanted, but I was not the only one. When I returned home and hired out on the Burlington Northern, a lot of the world that I had known from my days on the Milwaukee Road was either changed or gone! |
