Puoghkeepsie and the Roosevelt Mid-Hudson Bridge from the Puoghkeepsie High Bridge         
The Mid-Hudson Bridge was built to carry automobiles and opened 1930. This span was built only after it was determined that adding a separate roadway deck to the railroad bridge was not feasible.
