The RAe 4/8 was designed in the year 1938 by the Swiss Lokomotiv and engine works in Winterthur after the model of the RAe 2/4 red arrow and should become with a theoretical maximum speed of 150 km/h the parade vehicle of the national exhibition of 1939. |
