CSX work train DO60-06 is shoving west on Track 2 Main underneath the Salisbury Viaduct on a beautiful but chilly autumn morning, with a bit of fog still hovering in the valley. Highway U.S. 219 is in the background. This is approximately 100 feet down from where I was on the bridge. It was only by luck that I was able to be here at the right time, and also fit the whole train into the photo. The train was heading to Rockwood where the excavator was going to do some drainage ditch clearing. |
