Chicago Central gave up the ghost and stopped using weary old MILW GP20s from the Plaines Station Coal run inherited from GM&O and at the end CNW or UP power was a common sight. The first step in bringing high-horsepower 6 axle units back to the Freeport Sub. Now its all CN, of course. |
