A westbound train on the Port Washington Branch passes the pocket track and enters Great Neck station. The siding east of the station there is used to turn short runs that return to Penn Station there. Since this photo, the siding was changed so that eastbound trains run straight into it from track 2, with Port Washington trains using the crossover to reach the single main east of here. |
