| AMARILLO TX Aug 6 1982 -- Santa Fe B36-7 7498 and Frisco SD45 await and crew and an assignment. GE built the 7498 (s/n 43144)in Nov 1980. It was delivered in Blue with yellow warbonnet. Note the air intake sound baffles which were removed. at an unknown date before Sept 27 1986 as shown in a Chuck Zeiler photo (http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=2236325) The locomotive was rebuilt before 1989 when the headlights were moved to the short hood nose. The trail begins to get murky there.
