| Ex Conrail units were getting to be unusual by this time, so it was nice to get one in the lead, and a rare one at that: this is one of only 10 C30-7's on the CR roster. All their other C30's were C30-7A, a 12 cylinder version that put out the same horsepower. The trailing unit here is also ex CR, now repainted for CSX. |
