Built by Baldwin in September 1912 (c/n 38292) as 2-8-2 class Q-1b #4203, it was rebuilt by the B&O in 1924 to 4-6-2 class P-1c #5040, later rebuilt to class P-1d, retired in 1956. On the back of the photo it credits Baldwin for building it but several steam rosters list B&O as the builder. |
