| Like its sister #5100 in this album, this "Pacific"-type unit was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1913 as a class P-3. It had the high stepping 76" drivers common to Pacifics, developed 210 psi, engine weight of 248,000 lb and overall engine+tender wheelbase of 65.71'. This is a Max Miller photo. |
