| This B&O built Pacific (class P-1c) sits with a head of steam on this day in 1935. Built by Baldwin in July 1911 (c/n 36680) as 2-8-2 class Q-1 number 4106 with 24X32 cylinders and 64" drivers, it was rebuilt by the B&O in 1926 to 4-6-2 class P-1c number 5007, equipped with 26X28 cylinders and 74" drivers. It was sold for scrap in December 1953. |
