| Now restored and the site of a local rail museum, the old Rock island Depot at Council Bluffs, Iowa was in sad shape in the early 1980s. Note the BN switcher moving cars across what was once a busy main line for the "Rock". It wasnt long after this photos was taken that the Rock was crushed to bankrupt ballast. |
