BNSF 964, GE C44-9W, First group of New GE's, and a new paint scheme for the BNSF on Conrail ELBNA westbound in Chicago Illinois. BNSF inspected the units at Clyde Shop in Cicero but rejected them and returned these four units to GE for repaint. Units came with ATSF red walkways, and horns. First run of BNSF GE C44-9W's were later received almost one month later with BNSF 972 leading five new units. |
