| This definitely appears to be a photo of #943 before the scrap line photo in this album. With the tender still marked as "C&EI", it is before 1941 when the railroad replaced the letters with the engine numbers. Built by Burnham, Wms, & Co in 1906, this Consolidation is still working the yard in this undated photo (date listed in approximate). Frank Smars photo |
