Virginia was one of the states that required trains to have cabooses by law, so they hung on there longer than anywhere else. The other classic part of the scene is the signals, which were a Southern trademark. They will be gone soon, if they arent already as PTC pushes railroads into upgrading their systems to accomodate it. |
