MKT was trying to make a dent in the KC-Texas intermodal market using short, fast trains. This was their daily effort, which I caught as a grab shot along US 169. He was moving pretty fast, judging by the blur on the first unit. The leader is one of the ex Kennecott Copper GP 39's. |
