Not the crew, which has the spartan accommodations of an MP 15 cab, but the riders in the first car, a subscription only parlor car catering to the high rollers of the area immediately around this station, among others. Seen as the sun sets on a late winter day. The structure at right was once Locust tower, controlling the switch and signals there at the end of double track. Now it is a Nassau County PD substation. |
