This is a fine example of a B&O shops rebuild that started as a class E-24 2-8-0 Consolidation but was converted to this 0-8-0 sometime between 1923-29 and reclassified as an L-1a switcher. The unit conitnued unitl being retired sometime in 1959. Max Miller photo |
