Nice view of a 1919 Baldwin built USRA 0-6-0 switcher, class D-30, in the Mt Clare yard in Baltimore. Note the gentleman in the suit at the engineer's window - possibly a retired engineer? Renumbered 1157 in 1950. Out of service by 12/29/53. No date given for this photo so an arbitrary one was used. K.F. Grosche photo |
