The LRC train sets were often coupled back to back, creating a longer train with power on each end. Sometimes cars would be dropped, but the power kepv on. It didnt matter so much for the timekeeping, but did allow a quicker turn at the other end. LRC 6912 leads train 69 west. It has 6916 on the rear. |
