In 1971 Amtrak did not provide a name for its tri-weekly Chicago-Seattle train via Butte. It would become The North Coast Hiawatha in later timetables. Both Pacific Northwest trains crossed Snoqualmie Pass. The Sunset Limited made stops at Pomona and Alhambra near Los Angeles. |
