| C1935. The date is an estimate. Here is an eastbound freight on the Rockland Branch at Wiscasset. If I’m reading the perspective properly this scene is taken from the WW&F bridge just south of the 2 footer’s crossing with the MEC. 12 cars and a caboose a nice consist. I would certainly have enjoyed standing beside the photographer who took this scene. No baggage or combination car. 2 reefers behind the power. The origional is not clear enough to make out the locomotive type or number. /DL |
