| After the bridge failed for the second time within a month (both times a pier began sinking due to record flooding), UP crews are back at it again repairing the Brazos River bridge in Richmond, TX, about 30 miles southwest of Houston. This is on UP's Glidden Subdivision (part of the Sunset Route) and the bridge's extended closure has forced the reroute of many trains, including Amtrak's Sunset Limited. |
