This appears to be the first 0-6-0 camelback switchers built for the Central RR of New Jersey. This one was a 1901 Brooks example of the ugly-cute switcher that was common working the Communipaw yards. Some of these lasted into the early 1950's before being retired. Robert P. Morris photo credit. |
