Electric Scrap. Here is an original photo that I took in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 24 November 1962. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4708, a P-5A (2-C-2) electric built by Baldwin-Westinghouse in August of 1932, rated at 3,750 horsepower, and retired in January of 1963 after 31 years of faithful service. |
