| Mid-Mountain. Here is an original photo that I took of a Pennsylvania Railroad train West of Altoona, Pennsylvania, on 20 June 1964. Shown here is PRR engine #7072, an EFS-17M built by EMD in 1956 and rated at 1,750 horsepower. It is pulling a single PRR hopper car: #181055. Perhaps this is some sort of test involving one of the new H-43 100-ton capacity hopper cars. |
