WIL-ALT-64. Here is an original photo that I took during a trip on Pennsylvania Railroad passenger trains from Wilmington to Altoona on 03 July 1964. Shown here is PRR engine #4894, a GG-1 built in Juniata during April of 1940. It is pulling a 19-car mail/express train (plus two cabin cars) through the Harrisburg Passenger Station on its way to Philadelphia and points East. |
