SRS. Here is the first of two original photos that I took of Pennsylvania Railroad rolling stock in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania, on 10 April 1965. Shown here is PRR #181002, an H-43 100-ton capacity hopper car built at SRS on 09 June 1964. It is undergoing road tests with experimental trucks intended to reduce side-to-side rocking when fully loaded. Partially visible on the left is N-8 caboose #478207. |
