Here is an unusual yard switcher built by GE in 1936 as DEY-2 model for the New York, New Haven & Hartford RR. New Haven bought 10 of these units and sold 5 to BAR in 1952. The yard switchers worked until being retired in the 1960's. No date or photogrpaher given for the photo. |
