Sitting by itself in the Little Ferry shops area is this New York, Susquehanna & Western caboose. Built in 1948 by the International Car Co to replace the older wooden cabooses, this crummy served well. It now resides as a static display at old Pompton Lakes Station, New Jersey, just one of only 6 surviving NYSW cabooses. Date is approximate. No photographer listed for the photo. |
