A look at the cab side of B&M 1109 reveals not Minuteman paint but Pinsly red peeking out from under the paint job applied by the museum in the early 1990s. The locomotive would work for Pinsly's Montpelier & Barre operation in Vermont and the Pioneer Valley Railroad in Massachusetts after retirement from service on the Boston & Maine. |
