| CN unit train of tank cars parallels Broad St. and approaches E. Parkway Ave. (and an awesome relic of the line's historic owner) as it heads north via former C&NW rails at Oshkosh, WI on 9 Dec. '17. I've passed this grade crossing countless times, but never attempted to shoot a train here, so I never noticed the C&NW sign before. I love the interesting and unique ampersand the C&NW occasionally used. I must attempt to catch a train here again when the sign is not backlit. The former C&NW freight house is partially visible in the background (to the left of the newer WC 'No Trespassing' sign). |
