This 0-8-0 switcher working at the Grand Central Station started out as a 1901 Burnham, Wms & Co 2-8-0 #109, later renumbered to 1703. Between 1929-33, the B&O shops converted it to this 0-8-0, renumbered to #798 and reclassified as L-3. Later renumbered again to #903 before being scrapped by 1959. Cameron Blaikie photo |
