Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer that was taken in Red Bank, New Jersey, c. 1950. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5471, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during 1927 and retired in August of 1956 after 29 years of faithful service. Many thanks to Mr. Robert Hess for identifying this location correctly. Roy Healey Collection; #29 of 40. |
