Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6789, an M-1A !4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Lima Locomotive Works during April of 1930 and retired in January of 1954 after 24 years of faithful service. In this context, it's pulling a mixed-cargo freight train through the Station on its w›y from Enola to Altoona and points West. |
