SPM. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by a Mr. Weber that was taken in Englewood, Illinois, on 9 August 1939. Shown here are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #3855 and another locomotive whose number is not recorded. Both are K-4's (4-6-2) "Pacifics." #3855 was built in Juniata during April of 1923. They are pulling a 13-car streamliner on the first leg of its journey from the Windy City to Gotham City. |
