SPM. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by a Mr. Weber that was taken in Englewood, Illinois, on 9 August 1939. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #5377, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1924 and retired in April of 1950 after 26 years of faithful service. It is pulling an 8-car streamliner on the first leg of its journey from the Windy City to Gotham City. |
