Here is a postal card entitled "Passenger Units." No Postmark. Caption On Reverse: "Pennsylvania Railroad's E-7 unit number 5844 and sister E-7 unit await assignment at Chicago's Passenger Yard in May of 1955." Both engines are EP-20's built by GM-EMD and rated at 2,000 horsepower each. #5844 was built during August of 1947. |
