Huntingdon. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Bill Price that was taken at the Passenger Station in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, on 8 October 1946. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3670, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during June of 1918 and retired in August of 1955 after 37 years of faithful service. In this context, it's pulling a passenger train that's about to stop at the Station to discharge and pickup passengers. |
