Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide of a photo by Nelson Bowers that was taken near Rockville, Pennsylvania, in March of 1956. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6810, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works during August of 1926 and retired in February of 1958 after 32 years of faithful service. It has just departed the Enola Yards with a mixed-cargo freight train, and is threading the interlocking on the Rockville Bridge on its way to Williamsport and points North.
