Bob Campbell General This is during the eastbound excursion Galesburg - Chicago (I was riding the 5th car back in this train). 5632 earlier that day, double-headed with M4a #6315 which experienced both eccentric rod failures west of Zearing, IL. Sadly, George was killed in the Montgomery, IL wreck, September 27, 1964. Years later, in the early 1970's, I fired several trips with Chuck Welty in the C&I pool to Savanna Yard, IL. 2/6/2022 4:26:32 PM
