P74A class heavyweight coach 7505 brings up the rear of a short westbound off-peak consist on the Port Jefferson branch. This car was originally built as 26-seat parlor car "Marie" for the Michigan Central. It was later rebuilt to a 60-reclining seat coach as NYC 2825, then sold to the LIRR in 1958 and converted to 3/2 walkover seats. Date of photo approximate. |
