Portraits 4. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via F.R. Kern. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #3766, a K-4S (4-6-2) "Pacific" built in Juniata during May of 1920 and retired in November of 1951 after 31 years of faithful service. Note that it still has two pairs of "claw-foot" marker lights. The photographer's name, the exact date, and the location are not recorded. (#29 of 40) |
